Defender set against epic mountains and serene wadi landscapes. Ramadan Mubarak.
The brief was to create a fully integrated Ramadan campaign for the Middle East, spanning social, OOH and CRM, with Defender positioned as the undisputed hero. The scope included reels, stories, portrait and landscape films, and digital OOH executions—each crafted with a refined, cinematic sensibility.
The challenge was to place Defender within breathtaking locations that authentically captured the spirit of Ramadan, while remaining aligned with the global brand narrative of togetherness, adventure and the pursuit of the seemingly impossible journey.
The creative direction drew inspiration from the calm beauty of the festive period, focusing on moments just before iftar. A subtle glow, rich shadows, crescent motifs, and soft pink-and-purple sunset skies set the tone, creating a quiet sense of anticipation and reflection.
The campaign explored two visual narratives. In one, the Defender and a group of friends share iftar high in the mountains, overlooking a vast and majestic landscape. In the other, they gather beside a tranquil wadi, breaking fast near still waters as daylight fades. Throughout, the journey of the Defender and its companions became central to the visual language, resulting in a powerful yet restrained aesthetic that evoked the symbolism and emotion of Ramadan.
The outcome was a cohesive suite of assets that felt deeply rooted in Middle Eastern culture, resonating seamlessly across regional markets while maintaining a strong, global luxury presence. Celebration is expressed through atmosphere, emotion and precision—elevating the festive narrative through subtlety rather than spectacle.
